I like the full on commitment to boats in that garage - keep those cars outside where they belong.

Also digging the imperial pint of dark matter you got going there. Sinistor Black? Black 13? Dangerous Kate? Black Butte Porter?

How did you mount your sliding rail for the bimini in the decking?

I know you're not asking me, but I drilled and countersunk holes in the rail (counter sink so screws sit flush with inside bottom of the rail so the slide doesn't stick on them) I used stainless machine screws with nylock nuts and washers. Nut and washer below the side deck, screw sized so it doesn't stick down too low and rub on the tube. On mine, the nuts/screw bottom are at least an inch from contacting the tube.

Hope that helps.

edit: Oh yea, also my rails were intentionally placed just inside of my frame tubing - to help ensure no rubbing when the boat pressure was low...

I used the stainless screws that came with the slide track. I'm not super happy with the wood I used, so it'll probably get swapped out for thicker ply next year, so I'm not terribly concerned about the screws stripping out at this point.

This is the bimini I picked up (8'L x 54"H x 54"-60"W): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L7NROG2

And the tracks: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000N9TDPG

I did have to pick up different slide mounts because the pucks that came with the tracks had a different hole pattern than the mounts that came with the bimini. The track also didn't come with thumb screws, so I picked up these: Amazon.com : SeaChoice Bimini Top Deck Hinges with Stainless Steel Slide Lock Pair, BLACK : Bimini Boat Tops : Sports & Outdoors

This fly is 24'x18'. It has cams on the corners with heavy duty metal rings that slide right over the oar handles. It is super easy to set up and keep tight. Also comes with nice sand stakes. To me it is very much worth the cost n

Nice. Any MB discounts?

Thanks Seantana and Elkhaven. I'm currently using a 6' umbrella, but have seriously considered making the move to a bimini.
