Pump Storage

Hey Fellow Floaters,

I have a big NRS barrel pump that seems to get knocked around each and every trip. Does anybody have any ideas on how to protect in while storing? I'm looking for a box that will fit the pump. My boats change pending on what river I'm on therefore the pump doesn't necessarily get stored in the same place each trip. I will likely make a wood box if I can find something that is available.

Get a K-Pump. Easy to strap to a frame rail.
No need for full size pump on the river.

Good idea. Will those k pumps fill 18 foot rafts? Or a snout chamber?

I have a 4" Carslile that I keep in an camp old chair bag (tube shaped bag with a draw string that the chair comes in and never gets used again) I stow it in the drop bag under the front dance floor. I keep a velcro strap around the bottom below where the hose comes out to hold it in place so I dont ever have to take it all the way off. Just push it down and pull the hose out. Been that way for years Works great.
