I own a paddlecat and a mini max
I belive in multi pumps
At home I have inexpensive ac pump good to about 1.5 psi. I use it to inflate and deflate boat at hone.
I have a cheep 12v pump gets boat up to 1+ psi, then use NRS barrel pump to top off.
R2 partner has a k pump for on river use....we never use it to top...the barrel pump is easier and faster.
I had a wonder pump for many years till it finally broke. Hard on the back....did the job ....nice at take out cause it would suck air out to....but I seldom used that feature.
Really like my NRS....not as durable as the carlson......but......who cares ? ......if it breaks NRS will give you a new one .....but it is to big for a day use down river pump.....that is where the K pumps shine.....as downriver pumps.
I too have had folks with k pumps ask to borrow my barrel pump at the put in, never seen anyone with barrel pump ask to use a k pump !
So I suggest a min of 2 pumps, a barrel pump for at the put in, and a K pump for downriver.
