Another question

I too am looking at a tilt bed sled trailer. It's only 8 feet long and the raft is 14 ft. Too small? Or will it manage?

You should be fine, most straight sections on a 14' raft is 8 feet, so the flat part of the raft will be supported.

Wishing I was on the river instead of surfing the web...
