Generally I can repair a boat for less that $20 and a couple beers. And the repair would take less time than working with aire and if its a big deal. Buy a new bladder!
Aire really does not put out boats with true manufacture defects. At best less than 1% are truly aires fault! So, IMHO the aire warrantee is good only for repairs caused by user.
Same can be said about Maravia. Except you can not weld the patch on a maravia.
So, why not do it yourself????? Save time and money.
If it costs me more to have a boat repaired by Aire than I could do it myself, then how much is that warrantee really worth? Because shipping, driving, being out a boat, or my time is just added to the total "true"
cost of said warrantee!
Both aire and maravia are outfitter grade high end top dollar boats that will most likely never see the repair center.
These boats are like buying a ford F350 for your daily commute. The average guy just does not need that much boat and warrantee.
This is not coming form a point of hate.
Its time to realize that other outfits can build good boats and their missions don't need to align with archaic views of old school thoughts of people stuck in a rut!
