I cannot believe the price on that --- seems like a lot. I would think a new RMR or Trib would suit you better and not cost that much more.

Please note, I know very little but if it were my hard earned dollar I'd go elsewhere.

And folks should realize that $1400 is "just for the rubber."

I'd be a little leery. It looks like the seam tape has been redone. It looks to be of the same era as the several Santanas I've worked on, which were of the era of the catastrophically failing seams. Those guys all got the boats in the $400 dollar range. Even if it is solid, which it very well could be, $1400 is a little steep I would think. If you had to get even a couple small areas of seam redone you could end up spending enough that you would be better off with something else / better / newer. Its a gamble none the less, as is any 25- 30 year old glued PVC boat.

Thanks for the replies. Its good to know that the seams are glued. That pretty much nixes it for me.
