I think one of the big flaws is the number of batteries required. If you could get it down to two or three .....people would be more receptive. We don't tend to use rechargeable batteries as much as alkalines. Alkalines are so cheap compared to rechargeables.
So one of my recommendations to you is to work on getting the number of batteries required down to two, three, or four........compared to eight.
We have cheap Chinese hover boards catching fire due to Li-ion batteries. The general public is not going to go out and buy them to put in a device due to bad publicity of this type of battery......me things.
The thermoelectric generator sounds like a good idea. That's something people might buy to recharge their cell phones and such.
