Mesh duffel or watershed for pin kit?

I'm assembling a pin kit and was wondering what to store it in. I've got a couple of mesh duffels and a couple of watersheds laying around. The NRS and Cascade River Gear kits all come in a mesh bag. That seems like the popular way to go. Any objections?

Go with something that will allow your stuff to dry after use. The watershed will be mildew city.

Whatever you do, it might be a good idea to make it a unique color on your boat. That way it's easier for everyone on your trip to identify and find, if necessary.

Drying is nice but hopefully you won't be using it all that much. So keeping it dry means less work after a trip. I vote dry bag and on the trips you do use it you will have to air it out.

I use a clear sealine drybag, so I can see when moisture gets in it.

I use an old rope bag similar to this one, https://www.rei.com/product/849968/m...ag-ii-rope-bag. Mine has gear loops inside where I clip in the rest of my pin kit. The pin kit then goes into a clear drybag which sits on the deck next to me, NRS Dri-Stow Dry Bag - Closeout at nrs.com. If the pin kit is needed I pull it out of the drybag and carry it to where it is used. After trips I store it in the rope bag, out of the dry bag. After use i lay the whole thing out to dry.

I have the Dirt Bag 1. Maybe I'll use that with a dry bag.
