With no drag you don't get any assist from the current in wind and flat water. Blow up stream easy. This is one area where the Aire floors are better than the sealed stuff I think.[/QUOTE]
Does your raft have an I-Beam or Drop Stitch floor? I'm guessing I-Beam, but want to make sure.
Thanks for posting about the handling features of the Sotar SL. I'm considering switching from a 14 ft. cataraft to a 13-14 ft. raft, and it sounds like the SL is nimble enough that I won't totally lose all the handling characteristics of the cat.
