Mammoth coolers 50% off at bob wards

Bob wards is liquidating all their mammoth coolers. I got a 110qt today. Stock was limited.

So here is a question. On their site, at the bottom of each cooler they advertise that ice will last up to 10+ days. Isn't that kinda short? Or is that what most High quallity coolers will do without special packing techniques?

That's about the limit of the cooler without special packing and propper maintenance. Even engels and yeti's claim 8-10 days. If you freeze things before and only open on your cook day the ice will last much longer, but it does take some work. Shade, wet towels, will power not to open it. Most take two coolers, one with their cook group food that doesnt see a lot of action, and another with their beer that is opened every 5 minutes. Beer can get warmer without killing you, 12 day old defrosted chicken breast is another story...
