Kokatat warranty and customer service!

I need to give credit where credit is due. Bought my first dry suit this spring and had a zipper issue that they could have explained as partially my fault. Kokatat was totally BOSS!!! They didn't try to give me a hard time and they took care of me WAY better than they had to. Just wanted to share the good vibes.

Yep. Fantastic company. I just sent my suit back in for service after 4 years and a gasket replace or two at home, and they patched over 50 pin holes, re-taped the seams in all the critical spots and replaced all 3 gaskets for right around $100.

The real kick was that they had the work done within 2 days of receiving it, and I had my gear back exactly 1 week from when I sent it out.

Now if that isn't bomber customer service then I don't know what is...

Can I ask why so many people wear shorts outside of their drysuits?

I wear shorts to help reduce the wear on the ass of the suit when guiding... but not kayaking... Not sure why that is. I don't know if it will buy me another day or another year out of the suit.

You also look cooler with shorts over it, which is key.

It actually looks like you're wearing shorts over pajama bottoms.

In 11 years of paddling and around 1000 days on the water I can safely say I have never seen anyone with shorts on the outside of their drysuit.....
