But yes, all my dryboxes are permanently mounted with bolts. The only straps that I have to deal with are the cooler's (I am still in the process of making it strapless). My stern bag has only one strap to keep all the stuff tight inside it (I do use spider straps on top of the stern bag in high water).
I was looking at your typhoon,that is a clean package. I am thinking that will be my new boat for my Colorado trip, I have been looking at this boat and frame package on Maravias facebook page.
I love the frame, no straps and how it is setup to carry water. I am thinking Lime green and the frame in white. Was wondering how the Typhoon did with a load, handling ,etc. I am going to call Maravia and see what that package runs.
