There is no doubt it's spendy at $70 for the tool alone. But, I use Milwaukee tools, so I already have their batteries. I mainly use it to blow out my workshop, but have found it surprisingly useful for many other tasks including inflating stuff.

It's a very similar tool to the one the OP asked about in his 1st post. I believe the raft fill adaptor on the Milwaukee that allows for inflation and deflation makes it better than the Makita.

As for spendy, I went with an even more expensive option: a raft trailer where I leave it inflated all the time. Now that's simple!😀

Just use a shop-vac and reverse the flow.

I have an older Dewalt, but it's just about the same as this one. I can get three 14' Avons blown up on a single battery. DeWALT 18V-20V Li-ion 2 Gallon Wet Dry Vacuum Tool Only (DCV580)
The nice thing is runs off 110v too!
