Jacks plastic, and maravia both use drop stitch I believe. Also, this season RMR started offering it as an option on some boats. It is also a sotar option, or it was at one point. The nrs outlaw boats also use a drop stitch floor.

I blue out the v tape on a hyside with a 2 lb(brown) prv. Nrs sells only the 2 lb version and last I checked their website doesn't say anything about checking with your manufacturer as they all have different specs.

I've been plugging the prv on my nrs for years, and haven't suffered catastrophe yet. I am really careful though, never take it out of the water with out bleeding, etc.
Not the safest thing to do, but no problems in about 6 years of doing it.

Hyside or Nrs?

How do you plug it? What do you use?
I'm heading out for the MFS later this week and while I won't need to plug it at the top I might farther down.

Plugging a PRV will void any warranty if you blow an ibeam or V tape.

The Hyside owners manual actually states that a 2.0 psi PRV is supposed to be on the boat. According to this website, the brown PRV is actually a 2.5. https://rivergear.com/raft-repair-so...ng-psi-values/

I stand corrected, but Brown=bad on a Hyside.

Anybody know what model this Nrs raft is? Maybe it's older?
