Holiday wood frames

I just saw another Holiday raft and am wondering about that wood frame. I think I've discussed this before here, however I forget much and am asking again.

Why are they still running this type of frame? Is it purely for tradition or is there a benefit (other than cost) for this?

While I'm at it, who makes their white rafts?

Boats are Maravia. Wood frames are more friendly to walk around on, easier to tie stuff too, don't get hot, way less expensive, can fix on river
