Yes, it's true. I've gone to the dark side. Long story involving 16 years of cat boating, heavy complicated cat frames, desire for something new, bum leg, easy in & out of a raft, easy rigging of a raft, desire for something new, etc. etc.
Bought a 12 ft. Hyside raft last spring & took it on Deso. Had a blast. Really liked the rafting thing. Decided to think about maybe trading in my 14 ft. cat for a 14 ft. raft. Then I went an busted up my femur and spent all summer pondering & saving up some money. I put my cat tubes up for sale and ordered a Sotar 14SL raft. I still have a 10 ft. fishing cat, so I can legally keep my cataraftgirl name.
