Taking mine to the lochsa next week. Different frame for that. Prolly swim too, but that's half the fun isn't it? So far she's got a middle fork (swam the meat in Cramer), Alberton gorge, bitterroot. Fun boat, keep it in the class 3 or less if your not in your swim suit.

Or maybe the people who own them like to be able to easily switch up their frame depending on the trip: from a day run with a full boat and splashy whitewater to a fishing rig for 3....and then to a multiday camping rig.

Did you make the rod holder or did you buy it from somewhere? I've been thinking about it and possibly making one from a length of PVC pipe.

I picked up an RMR storm late last year and bought a frame from River Boat Works. I've only had it on the water a couple times, but it works great. Haven't had a passenger up front yet, but will soon. I've moved the frame back a bit to from where it is in the photos to give a little more clearance for the anchor.

I bought this boat to fish and float rivers in Oregon as well.
