I'll just bet that the GCNP wouldn't allow piano hinges as a fire stop guarantee. I wouldn't.
What if you put two more hinges on the long sides?
That 5 piece part could according fold nicely.
Then I would want some attachment method on the bottom ends.
Or a more substantial overlap.
Picture this thing warped.
The piano hinges will not work as well on a curve.
