I don't work for or know the owner of the ship and shore (Barney) bag but they sell them at Andy/Bax in Portland. probably only place you can get them other than used. well worth it, and everyone I know who does multidays here runs one ...
out here on the left coast they are pretty popular, you can order them to color and custom for very small charges. they come with two standard raft bags designed in the shape of the back of your boat. big or bigger. I believe they are made out of a pvc type material but it might be pvc coated fabric. not sure.
they are not completely water tight but they drain well and they keep your stuff mostly dry as opposed to a mesh design that just keeps your stuff together. Usually when we pull off the river there is a little water in the bottom of the bag, but we stuff the barney with drybags so its of little consequence. Large heavy duty zipper helps for loading and unloading. plenty of d-rings around the perimeter to allow you to suspend off the floor and strap down into your boat.
