I think they put feet on the coolers for people who use them on fishing boats??? On my last Canyon Cooler I had them switch the latches, and put on the butterfly latches like a dry box. I liked how well they snugged down. No problems so far. I sure wish the high end coolers weren't so darn expensive, and came is a wider range of sizes.
Yea, great point. They should all have non-slip soft but durable rubber feet. The canyon is definitely a good ice cooler for the money. Just minimal accessories. Don't get me wrong...I love my Canyon cooler. Just love my Engel a tad more!
Engel fan for life. Literally. The premium coolers are built so well unlike most things you can pass them on in your will lol.
Anyone would love an Engel DeepBlue cooler, boy or girl!
If not a DeepBlue cooler, they'd certainly love one of their 12V / 24V portable refrigerators/freezer, or their dry bag backpacks for hardcore hikers and outdoors man/woman. Heck...even their Engel gear in general from my friends, family, and my own experience has been absolutely amazing, performed better than expected, and was all well worth the investment! The Engel gear certainly isn't cheap or sold at the same prices as something like Coleman gear. I guess getting what you pay for holds true in some cases, this being one! Engel has spent many decades perfecting their gear ensuring it is dependable. I'm thinking many brands are duplicating the features/design. Just my opinion, but hey, they are all truly great coolers if you get them from the right place.
My sister actually purchased an Engel 35qt.
cooler about 3 years ago and she uses it every single week literally at either our home or at the church for entertaining.
My next one will be a Grizzly because of the lifetime warranty and repeat customer discounts that TheBestCooler.com
offers. Just a friendly tip to keep the cool mountain buzz going!
I'm pretty sure Grizzly coolers has the same lifetime warranty I'm assuming.
