Dutch oven tip
Hey all you Dutch Oven lovers, get two pieces of 1/2" square steel tube, cut to match your fire pan width, drill it full of 1/4" holes,
Drill two holes on each side of your fire pan, place the tubes in the fire pan so they align with the side hole. This allows air flow to get to the charcoal underneath the DO. You could get the tubes welded in or a couple of self tapping screws thru the fire pan bottom will work. The pic is an aluminum fire pan I made, it's seen a fair share of DO cooking. Don't forget to knock the ash off the charcoals every now and then while cooking!
