If you have Pacos, how about plywood squares to cover the frame openings next to the dry box. Then closed cell foam on top of them to get the top at the same level as the drybox. Then Pacos from siderail to siderail.

This is what I run. It is great. If the foam ever gets wore out you just replace the inner foam. It just snaps right to my dry box and the mesh under side lets it drain. No more soggy butt from the foam. makes them custom for your size of dry box.Click image for larger version

If you zoom in you will notice that it has a texture for traction when standing or walking on it. It is the same grippy padding they use for stomp pads on windsurfers and kite boards.
