What am I missing?

I want to believe.

Hey Andy, the wide roll a cot is 32" wide and there is plenty of room for my Silverback! Do you have one yet? If not it may be time my friend hahahaha! Have a fabulous day and I am sure we will see you soon. ~ Renee

Hey Mowgli,
Why did you get the fabric one instead of the mesh?
Is the fabric waterproof?

DrAndy, this is the one I got. Got soaked A couple times on the MFS this June. Dried quickly and showed no signs of wear. I really like it. I found that putting a Paco on it was too soft. I preferred just sliding the Thermorest in. Once you get your routine down taking it apart and putting it together it really only takes about a minute and a half. Click image for larger version

Are those dimensions accurate? Most Thermarest (camp rest) are 25" wide. Cool idea- wish mine would do that. I bet the fabric top is to prevent your skin from looking like a checkerboard when you wake up.
