Average towing weight guess

I know this could be HUGE range, but I'm wondering what do folks think the typical towing weight (not tongue weight) is of a 16' raft with full gear for a week long desert trip? Think it's north of 3k?

Yea - I know it depends on the trailer and the amount of food etc, etc. Just figure I could get some data points from folks that happen to have driven over a scale for and idea.

No. Not unless your trailer is heavy. If it's a standard light duty raft trailer you're looking more in the 1500 lbs range for a loaded cooler, raft, frame, drybox, misc drybags etc.
