Airhead 12v pump for LF C7 valves

So now that I finished the cable extension my next thing it to redo the hose on the pump. The stock fittings don't work with a leafield valve. Anyone modify theirs and care to share?

I LOVE my Airhead pump. I used mine side by side to a NRS $120 version and they were identical IMO. For my adapter I bought a $5 adapter from NRS and used a short section of garden hose and 2 hose clamps to clamp it on the straight adapter the Airhead comes with. I use this same adapter on my $20 chinese barrel pump. While not as nice as the $200 barrel pumps it works just as well and my $.20 cent o-ring is easily replaced.

The green garden hose with a cloth weave just beneath the rubber.....or you can get the clear "beer bong" style hose at home depot.

BTW- my Airhead blew up after 3 seasons of use. I read that you're not supposed to use the alligator clips on your battery with the engine running.....think that may be the culprit- although for the last 2 years I've been attaching to a motorcycle battery that I carry around for the task. Guess I will bite the bullet and get another......other options are too expensive.

I just bought a battery at batteries plus last night for $38. It is a sealed lead free battery. I have a battery tender to charge it, plus I have a little solar panel to charge it also. The battery is about2/3 the size of a motorcycle battery.

I have an Airhead pump as well. I replaced the hose with a garden hose and use a rubber valve adapter from NRS. After about 5 years of use the bearings are making some noise - but at this price point I can't complain. I've also heard of issues with a lot of more expensive pumps, so when my current one dies I'm planning on buying another Airhead.
