I just talked with Errol at Jack's today. Ordered a couple of custom Pacos. Basically the Paco Grande, but extended to 78" long instead of 72". They only charged me $12 more per pad than the standard Grande pad. I think that is a great price. As said before they will add the boat valve if you want, but it will only save you a couple of minuets to roll up.

I would give them a call.

I'm wondering if NRS changed the foam that they use in the RiverBed; I got to check out one of the 2" thick versions in person and it was not at all brick-like. In fact, I was concerned that I'd end up with shoulders and hips touching the ground (@185lbs, 6' tall).

Any owners of the 3" thick RiverBed? Is it pretty comfy? Is the foam adequate to keep you off the ground?

I have several 3" Paco Pads that are almost 20 years old. I have abused them regularly. they are still doing well.
