So when we talk about time value of money I use Aswath Damodaran valuation. Ha!
So Im thinking "n" number of years/replacement cycle on the Saturns is around 2 years at the very least. I was curious about company replacement/repair policy so checked their site. Only reason I say that we are off on "n" is because the manufacture warranty is 2 years on any fabric/seam defects ect.....chatting with one of the resellers, they mentioned that they have not seen any of them come back for any warranty issues and they have been selling the Saturn product for longer than 2 years....and I also know of someone who owns one of the rafts and runs their Saturn pretty hard during the summer down the Payette, Boise and Salmon areas and still goin strong after 6 years. They take really good care of the tubes and are still in really good shape.
Maybe we could hear from other owners(possibly Salmonjammer can chime in) and let us know what the life cycle of their Saturn product is just to give us a better idea for valuation purposes if someone would like to use TVM for their purchase decision.
Cheers fer now,
