What's the lowest anyone has done the MF?

Hey! I have a July 3rd launch on the MF and the stream gauge is not looking very good. What's the lowest anyone has launched at Boundary Creek? I'm planning on a light trip with my 14' Cataraft which I have gotten down some pretty boney rivers in the past, however rarely with 8days of provisions. Hoping for the best . Thanks

I fear this topic will be popular this summer

Wishing I was on the river instead of surfing the web...

We'll fly extra gear to Indian if necessary Tom but I think we will be fine in early July. Jenni has bumped down it at super low flows in the past - the year her son was born she had to wait until August when he was 8 weeks old! (He wasn't on the trip with her).
Carvedog has numerous threads on this topic - he says you can always get down it just might not be pretty.

Here's more info from Duct tape's thread from Feb, he has a Sept launch.

Well lets see I've started at Boundary in my 16 foot S.B. at around 1.5 and yes it is real boney... real boney, you have to pay attention and be ready to rock and roll your boat off of the rocks that will draw you like a magnet, spinning and rotating all the time, sulphur slide and the chutes in particular. I rowed with a evenly distributed load and my floor was only half way inflated. There are are many places all the way to Indian Crk. were one can and will get hung up. On a positive note just keep a fishing rod handy and fish your way thru the rock gardens.

Down to 2' is pretty easy, lower than that you have to assess how hard you want to work and how good you are at not getting stuck in shallow rock gardens. Many love it, many don't.
