Upper Colorado at 8000 Beta
Looking for some beta on the Upper C for this weekend. I am an experienced oarsman who has done this stretch lots of times and many big water trips. I am used to this being a booze cruise to camp, but at this level I am taking it seriously. I have a few newbies on board so the more information I have, the more comfortable I can make them feel.
I assume Needle is center right and then Yarmony is tight left then pull right after the hole. I plan on scouting the rapids, which I have never done, where is the best place to do it at this level? If someone gets nervous I don't think there are walk arounds are there?
Will Island Camp be there??
