Ruby HT fire ban

Anyone have a crystal ball that can tell me if they think the fire ban will be lifted for the canyon?

Fire ban is still in place. Even if Mesa County lifts their fire ban it does not mean the ban will be lifted on the river.

I wouldn't count on it happening anytime soon.

There has been hardly any rain this "monsoon" season. Even when it has rained it was not very much. There was a day a few weeks ago where Grand Junction reported close to an inch and we got like .1 out here(in Fruita).

Ruby Horsethief is managed by the Grand Junction BLM field office. Westwater is managed by the Moab office so they aren't always the same restrictions. That said, Westwater does have a fire ban too.
