There has been hardly any rain this "monsoon" season. Even when it has rained it was not very much. There was a day a few weeks ago where Grand Junction reported close to an inch and we got like .1 out here(in Fruita).
Ruby Horsethief is managed by the Grand Junction BLM field office. Westwater is managed by the Moab office so they aren't always the same restrictions. That said, Westwater does have a fire ban too.
Yes! The fire ban has been lifted. If you print your permit and the fire stipulation is still on it, please check in with a river ranger and they can make the change on the permit for you.
