Yeah!!! Every year I write to get a group together for weekend Bighorn/Gorge ducky boating, and sometimes it happens. Glad this has already started.
My view is that for someone who is comfortable steering a ducky around rocks and waves and holes in active whitewater, and going through big wet waves, and dropping into small holes, etc., the Gorge at the water flow I expect we'll see in a few weeks will be fun. Even with a little carnage.
It's different from the faster flows of 2000+. (Not to mention the 6,000 we had some weeks ago!). There is time to see what's coming and react to it. More than a few of us can advise the rookies who I hope will jon in.
The Gorge is cool! Ya gotta see it.

I see that many on this tread have been paddling for some time now, I'm 57 and would love to hear some great IK stories. Keep this thing going!!
