Rogue fishing?

Launching on the wild and scenic section next week and am having a hard time finding info, looks like fall and winter are the good times.

Worth taking gear during the summer? Rod weight, flies, etc? Any info appreciated!

I wouldn't bring it. Not much to catch in that part of the river this time of year.

Real adventure is only one bad decision away.

I would agree that the big fish are not in the river (Might be a summer run, so check), but for kids or people that need to stay busy bring the gear. My kids catch fish all day long with Lures. Most of the fish are 6-10 inches, but they will catch 30 of them.
