You may consider buying a stove (or two, as needed) when you get down there. Single burner small stoves that could easily work for camping are very common in Chile, as people use them to make coffee, etc. They are available at hardware and bigger home stores. They take a fuel canister that is tall and skinny like a can of spray paint with no nozzle. I think the fuel inside is butane. It doesnt burn as hot as propane but it is available all over the country. The hardware stores sell them for plumbing torch fuel.
These make me a little nervous but if you don't have any other option as long as you have a large tank you should be GTG.

You can actually find some in a couple of specific stores in Santiago and then will have to travel by bus. Pro Gas 450 gr – Doite | Ansaldi
These ones (available in a bit smaller can too) are the most common for use here.
