Well, I think what you have assumed is that I am a Publican. I am not. I despise what the Publicans AND dummycrats are up to. The attitude on both sides is "they" are unpatriotic, obstructionist, and greedy robbers. The reality is, both sides are at fault for the problems we face.
The overall attitude in Washington is to grab what you can while you can, and I don't think that any political party has truly had the best interests of the country......us.......at the front of their plans for many years.
So be it.
I say toss the boogers out and start over.
I've seen several initiatives that simply say; we can't fix Washington from the inside, we need to start at the local level and work our way up. I think I agree with the concept, but I don't know if we have the time to build a new political atmosphere, or if in the end it will be any better than what we have.
I do believe if we don't force those robbers to address the economy soon, none of it will matter in the end. We simply cannot continue to spend what we don't have; they have mortgaged our future, and our kids future and we stood by, joining in the political name calling and accepting the "we against them" attitude.
I try to avoid looking for individual blame; all of those robbers are to blame. And we are to blame for being sucked in by their stupid campaigns.
We have met the enemy and he is us
