Pick me a day trip. Please!

Here's the deal, I have Friday the 19th off. I was planing on a scouting trip as I drew a bull elk tag this year but i'm sitting in my garage looking at my new raft and I just decided I would rather go rafting.

The trip I'm looking for is within a 1 day drive of Las Vegas and can be run in a day with a 14' raft at current levels. Of course I don't have any permits so... easy to get or no permit needed river.

I have been kayaking for years but a trip through Desolation Canyon at high water and I new then I wanted a raft. I paddled most of that trip in a IK but I did row some of the rapids and practiced catching eddies and getting out of a few I never meant to catch. I have since been down a class II-III run on the Kern River several times and Green River section A at about 6000 cfs a couple times. I was thinking the Moab Daily but if anyone has any other/better options I would really appreciate any input.

Thanks

Just to clarify I have three days. Drive to the put in on the first, run the river, on the second, and drive home on the third.

If your up for an 8hr drive the south fork American river near Placerville CA could work. Check flow info on dreamflows.com

moab daily is a good beginner run, and its only 6 1/2 hours from you... hittle bottom to take out beach is a good class 3 to 3- trip through beautiful castle valley... and no permits required!
