Went over 9 mile-> Wrinkles on Jun 11. 9 mile is awesome with the aforementioned dips being the only issue.
Wrinkles has had some flooding - nothing that would affect any off-road or pseudo off-road vehicle like a CRV. There are however some small (fist sized) rocks on road. We had one person following too closely to another and hit one of these causing a flat tire. Just leave plenty of space and you should be easily able to avoid.
The road is fairly well marked. Take off from the Chevron in Wellington. Drive on the paved road. I don't remember exactly what the signage says, but there is an obvious sign when leaving 9 mile canyon. Wind your way up out of 9 mile, and there is a branch with some signage to get on the Wrinkles road toward Sand Wash.
