my 12' riken

I sold my 13' fish cat for 700.00 a g Loomis nrx 9' 7wt and Ross evolution lt3 reel I made out like a bandit on the deal. Then I bougt a 12' riken bucket boat in fair shape for 340 shipped missing the military valves to thwarts but it holds air pretty well, I made my own frame using 1 5/8 tubing from loweas that I bought for 10.00 total(10 sticks) for each spreader bar mount I notched and welded it all of my spreader bar have been flares slightly to fit over the other tubing as well. The coolee bay just used some scrap angle iron for supports and expanded steel mesh on the bottom, I can sit on it without any issues! My oar towers were bought on nrs close out. As far as oars I just have some 7' Caviness oars for the slow fishing rivers but my frame is only 50" wide so I am looking at the cataract mini magnums in 7'6 which I've been told will handle what I want(mild class III) any suggestions? And here is my $500.00 rig. Suggestions on oars would be greatly appreciated too, thanks guys

Looks cool man. I recommend the mini mags. I bought 7'6" and ended up cutting them down to 6'9". They are perfect on my 11' boat with a 46" wide frame. Too flexible and too short to use with my aire super puma with 66" wide frame

Like the homemade frame for sure. Post those pics in the poverty raft porn thread. Love the rat rods of the white water.

well thanks guys, I've been considering re-painting it though hypalon paint is retardedly expensive and I'm pretty sure it would take 2-3 quarts easily for a good top coat? I appreciate the props
