Multi Day trip Grey Reef to Casper- Doable?

Is a multi day float trip doable from Grey Reef to Casper? I've been looking online at maps and find there are a few pay sites. But long gaps such as from Buffaloberry to Casper. I see a few areas that pass through state lands (which I understand there is no camping allow) and some BLM. I see no mention of any primitive/disperse camping.

It is sort of doable. It is such a slow float that trying to go below speck/Bessemer boat ramp is near impossible after camping at golden currant (easy access). I would not do it myself. It is a great fishing river, sucky float/camp river. If you are determined to do it I would talk to the Reef Fly shop first for sure (307)232-9128

Time is like a river. You cannot touch the water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again. Enjoy every moment of life on or off the river. is offline   Reply With Quote

You could turn that into a 5 day trip if you catch some bad wind. Maybe best to go FROM Casper to the reef!
