MOAB Daily

My friends are trying to head to moab this weekend, can anyone tell me anything about the moab daily trip? Like how long does the full 13 miles take, how flat does it get and can you make that a shorter trip. I'm thinking, we'd either try to draw it out into an overnighter, or try to shorten it up if possible.

The full thing from hittle to takeout beach would probably take you about 6 hours if you stopperbforn lunch i believe. You could put in at Onion Creek which eliminates a couple miles off the top flat section. If you were looking to shorten it up even more you could either put in or take outbat Rocky Rapid boat ramp. Just remember to pull left of the island below the rapid so you dont miss the boat ramp. There are some nice campsites on river right during this stretch as well
