By keeping it at 10 or less you should be able to go 8 days/ 7 nights. Plan on that. A very casual pace the first couple of days will help you to slay some cutts and not worry about getting stuck here or there.
I run a fairly large raft ( 17 feet) and seem to not have much problems but I know the lines. there are a couple of places you will be thankful for the lighter weight and width with a 14 footer.
A 206 can usually carry a raft and two people and runs about $550 to $600 out of Stanley or Salmon and $375 out of Challis.
Islander's can carry two to three rafts and maybe 3-4 people with that for around $900 to $1,100.
don't have my notes from last year on fly in prices.
If you are fairly athletic ( not that I am, but I manage to not get stuck much) it would be awesome to see the whole river. I am happy to help and there are a couple of different ways to do it. Many will advocate ( and it is easier no doubt) to fly everything in. The cost goes up and you miss 25 awesome miles of the river. Going off the top you will need a faster pace ( hence the 8 days). It will be awesome whichever way you go.
