Mellow dog friendly overnighter

Hey, looking for a nice mellow dog friendly overnighter for the lady's birthday. We live right near the upper C so trying to find something different last minute, looking to go sun-mon. We could drive out sat night so within 5-6 hr drive is about my limit. Not looking for more than class III, again dog float with good camping. Any ideas? Or a nice day float close to a 14er or something we could hike one of the days. Any ideas? Thanks!

If you're into fishing, the Green River ABC sections below Flaming Gorge would fit the bill quite nicely!

White Rock on the Rio Grande is an out of the way scenic class II float. Wonderful hikes in Bandalier National Monument. I'm thinking of planning another trip there in October. Shuttle logistics are the only headache really. Some good beta here:

Awesome suggestions, thanks! As soon as I get off work I will crack out on some research. These all sound great! Was thinking about ruby horse thief wasn't sure about dogs or the permit situation.

I love the Flaming Gorge. It'll be perfect this time of year. My dog had a blast.
