I received this from a friend and thought I would pass it on. They did not have rafts, I was all self support kayaks.
So we put on Marsh Creek on May 1. The MF flow was like 3.25 ft. We saw some gage on Marsh Creek that read 18 inches. There were two logs we were able to kinda sketchily go over, but was fine. There was one that was a portage. I was never in the front on Marsh, but I think the wood spots were pretty easy to come across and get to the side before hand. The flow we had, it was really slow going...
There was no wood on the MF, but there was def some slides and avalanche spots we passed by with wood near river level, that wood could have come out of since with a little bit higher water.
On our last day the river has risen up to like 5.2 feet
There were some smaller logs and pieces of wood floating by
With the flow we had, and what we had encountered on Marsh Creek, we had no problems at all. Rafts might be a different story
