Lower Salmon - hammer creek to heller bar

Any info about river flow. What is too big to run in 16' Cats. The guide book stated above 17,500 is extreme others say 20,000 cfs and dropping is big but very doable ..... I've done the middle fork at 4.9 and dropping and all was good.
Take care

Slide rapid gets big at 15k and up. I would run it up a bit higher though. Lots of u tubes to scout. Rain can blow that river up quick so be alert and tie them boats up well.
