Nymphing typically isnt allowed on my boat
, however, we slayed them from wolcott to Eagle the other day. Dead cow rapid was a little sketch as I could not find any line to run. No problems though, probably should have scouted a little harder instead of from the road downstream 100 yards.
Bob the bridge in Avon to edwards Water Plant was EPIC until it became a bit sketchy to run. Streamer bite was insane and dries were nuts.
Edwards to Wolcott has been fishing really well with dries and dry-dropper. But there are A METRIC FUCKTON of boats. Putting in late is how to do it.
Wolcott to Eagle (visitor center?) was really good nymphing. A few chases on streamers. Not a lot of fish rising despite plenty of bugs. Small stuff was working really well . Like mayflies and braassies.
