I ran it last weekend at 1800cfs. That's kinda low but I didn't have any trouble. A few of the Rapids turn into chutes at that flow. I ran it wit a 15 raft with oars. We still had a great time. Most notable rapid was Cliffside II it had a really fun wave train ending in a rock garden. Fang is a chute and I bounced my way through that one.

Fires and especially smoke are horrible, it could easily close down. Public lands south of i90 are closed due to the fish cr fire.

I am a river, babe - I've got plenty of time, I don't know where I'm going, I'm just following the lines..... - "We are water" by Shaye

Alberton gorge closed beginning 8/31:

"Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will close the Alberton Gorge section of the Clark Fork River beginning Monday, Aug. 31 between Cyr and Tarkio Fishing Access Sites due to fire activity.

The West Fork Fish Creek Fire is burning in the immediate vicinity, posing human safety concerns and a need to keep people out of the area while crews use the river water for fire suppression efforts.

Cyr Bridge, Triple Bridge, Ralph’s Takeout and Tarkio access sites are all closed. The river and access sites will reopen as soon as fire activity subsides."

I figured this was coming with the Fish Creek evacuations.

Dang good thing I decided to do the shoup to corn creek tomorrow. The fires by riggins and whitebird had me worried about river/road closures. Thanks for info on alberton gorge.
