Lower salmon may be a good choice if it has gotten low enough that Slide rapid is runnable. Most boaters consider that 15k at white bird. Depending on your skills and interest, higher is doable. Normally that time of year it would be too high, but if the salmon drainage snowpack stays abysmal, this year may be different.
