Looking for rowers for the Lower Rogue 8/9-14

We have a permit on the lower Rogue Wild and Scenic launching on 8/9 (taking out on the 14). This might be a long shot, but, we are looking for 2-3 experienced rowers who could take additional friends/families who are joining us. We are a party of 3 families with mostly young kids.

For details, please pm me.

Good luck on getting rowers! And I mean that in a sincere way. The Wild and Scenic is beautiful. A great trip for the kids. Incidentally, how old are the kids you are taking? 6 days is a long trip. Are you still running Graves Creek to Foster Bar, or are you putting in higher up? That is about 5 miles/day which is about 2-3 hours on the water each day. You'll want to try and snag camps with shade or bring plenty of your own!

I figure once mine hit 5yr old, maybe an adventurous 4yr old, I'll be taking them down. The only area that can be tricky is Blossom Bar, and you can always walk the kids around it. There is a well kept hiking trail that runs the length of the river, so that is easy.

Sorry I can't offer my services... I've got another trip that weekend. Otherwise it sounds like fun. Have a blast!

Thanks, Uria. Sorry my mistake, it is from 8/9-8/13. I counted wrong. It's a good 4 -day stretch but our youngest is still 6. I've done this stretch with adults, but not with kids. I've been waiting for our youngest grow up so that we could hit this section. Now that all old enough and swim, this will be a real fun place.
