Ladore trip Aug 29 - Sept 2

I have a lador permit Aug 29 - Monday to Friday Sept 2.
We go through the check out and launch at 10AM on Monday Aug 29th.

Right now I have only one raft and 5 kayakers. I would like to have a couple of other experienced rafters with gear.

I'm interested. But first need to talk to the wife

I've got no experience, having never been on a Ladore trip; but am very much wanting to gain some. Equipment wise I've got an Aire 156R (16') raft with drybox and plenty of space for gear. Skills wise, I'm a III-IV having left the ego behind (ego included I'm a straight IV! ) I've paddled the White Salmon, Clackamas, Rogue, North Umpqua, Santiam, and day stretches on the Payette. On the personality front, I'm clean, sober, patient, and polite. 32 years old, in good physical condition, and will be a helpful and contributing member to the trip.

I'll talk to the wife tonight, let me know if the trip is already full, or if you aren't interested. Thanks for the consideration!

I've also got lots of other gear I could have mentioned in the above thread. No roto-molded coolers I'm afraid, but I don't think that you'd need them for a Lodore trip. Pretty much everything else you'd want I've got. (A little short on table space actually, only one roll-a-table here.)

I am definitely interested. Kayaker turned rafter here. I bought my raft earlier this year. So I'm probably not as experienced as you would like but I have done a few trips already and my rowing skills are improving with every outing. I guide kayak trips on a flat water section of the Colorado through Black Canyon. I am certified in first aid, cpr, and wilderness first aid. I have a 14' Outlaw, large cooler and can borrow another one. I also have a few cook stoves and kitchen gear, grover and can haul some gear for the kayaks. I spoke to the wife this morning and she is interested also. We are an easy going couple in our mid-thirties. We like to drink at camp but tend not to drink much while on the river. We spend most of our spare time outdoors kayaking, hiking, rafting, ATV/offloading, some hunting and fishing. If we fit the bill of what you are looking for. Let me know and we can talk about some details.
