Agreed, 20-30k is an easy level is Deso. Joe Hutch has become significantly easier since it blew out and to me is only and issue below 5k. At those levels the left side of Three Fords opens up and can be fun. Coal is an easy setup to avoid the hole and then a few small moves.
Put-in is much easier to use but less space for multiple parties.
Above 25k and you can make 20 mile days without trying.
Bugs never made an appearance on trips until mid-June.
Sandbar camps are non-existent and campsite selection can be a little more competitive in certain stretches. You may have to accept a 2nd or 3rd choice.
Will be interesting to see how high it gets, wouldn't expect it to be much above 20k, if that.
