Grand Canyon - Oct. 7 launch - Looking for Boaters

Would you like to be part of an experience of a lifetime? A group of likeminded individuals are launching on the Colorado River October 7th for a 21 day adventure down the Grand Canyon. Our group is seeking to add a few boaters ...placing us in that sweet spot for a journey of this length. We have a few spots left available. Our group is currently looking for 4-6 experienced boaters to join our trip. Desire to captain your own boat (raft or kayak) is necessary. Couples would be a plus. If you are interested send me an email at grandcanyon20141007 at gmail dot com with details about yourself that would allow us to decide if you would be a good fit.

My only trip was an October 6 launch. What a fabulous time to be in the Canyon.

Good luck. If I hit the lottery I will pm you, until then I am out.

Me either. I've only done spring trips and would love to do a fall one some day. Not this year however. Surely you aren't having a problem finding people around Missoula to go, are you?

I'm in the early stages of what I hope is a 2016 trip. If you have the time, I would love to pick your brain. *

I did a first of October launch GC float a few years ago.

One day of rain, rest weather just wonderful. Reasonably warm days, cool nights just perfect for one blanket solid sleeping.

A really nice period to be in the Canyon.

Hope you all have a safe and fun trip - enjoy!
